What advice/tips/consejos would you give students in terms of navigating school?

Ask all the questions. We're here to learn and we shouldn't be expected to know everything, especially as many of us come from historically marginalized groups. Don't be ashamed or afraid to reach out to others and to ask questions. Also, apply to everything you can, the worst thing that they can say is 'no'.

What are your professional/career aspirations?

I would like to work in student support services in a community college or work as a researcher in a policy institute.

What (or who) inspires you?

My family inspires me. Just thinking of all their support and all the sacrifices they've made for me and my sister, makes me want to work harder to make them proud. Also, seeing the work done by my colleagues is also very inspiring.
