Graduating Student Spotlight: Erika Vallejo

Congratulations to our wonderful graduates! Today we celebrate Erika Vallejo, who has completed her PhD in Political Science and her Graduate Certificate in Chicano/Latino Studies!

Her favorite CLS memory is salsa making during class to demonstrate the multitude of knowledge making.
 

"I'd love to thank my advisor Dr. Eric Gonzalez Juenke and my Political Science department along with CLS for always believing in me and supporting my research and who I am as a person. I'd also love to thank my #TejanasintheMidwest friend group. I could not have done this alone and am extra grateful to my family in Texas and the family I have made while being in Michigan."
