Graduating Student Spotlight: Abbie Nelson

Today we are celebrating Abbie Nelson! Abbie is graduating with a PhD in Social Work and a Graduate Certificate in Chicano/Latino Studies!

Abbie's favorite CLS memory is reading unique Chicano literature.Her future plans are to work as Associate Professor (Tenure Track) of Social Work at Southeast Missouri State University.

"I am so grateful to so many who have helped me on this journey but mostly my husband and parents who supported me in raising two kids while on this path."
