Quote: When sharing a mantra to use with a breathing technique in classrooms or workshops it was: "Mi cuerpo merece puro cariño" which translates to "my body deserves pure authentic care". This quote was used to invite comfort and care to our bodies during the academic journey between 2018-2023.

Thank you: In 2018 I came in with a background in mental health and passion for mental health. Thank you CLS for your support and accepting me into the program to continue to bring call attention to mental health in the Latinx community. I had some good laughs and good cries in the CLS space. Also, gracias to the committed CLS faculty and staff that advocated for us (students) behind the scenes. Lastly, thank you to my CLS familia without your apollo the academic road would have been impossible, the CLS space often recharged my mindbodyspirit.
