In an effort to provide students with professional development opportunities, the Chicano/Latino Studies program will be hosting a virtual coffee/tea chat with Dras. Mayra Olivares-Urueta and Claudia García-Louis on Monday, November 16 from 10am-11am (EST)
The topic for this virtual coffee/tea chat is on how scholar-practitioners in academia are navigating and managing professional and care-taking roles during the COVID-19 pandemic. This chat is open to graduate and undergraduate students! To attend this professional development chat, please register at: https://tinyurl.com/CLSVirtualChat
During the virtual chat, students will learn about the professional and personal stories of these scholar-practitioners and will also have the opportunity to ask our guest speakers questions about their career and educational journeys! We hope you can join us—this space was specifically designed for YOU!
