Rachelle Rosario (she/her) graduated with a BSW from Kuyper College and an MSW from Western Michigan University. She is excited to be working under Dr. Riebschleger for her Graduate Assistanceship. She has been working as a school social worker for 8 years meanwhile dabbling in private practice, psychiatric inpatient work and a semester as an adjunct professor.
Her research interests are within the Latinx population, more specifically rural migrant youth mental health and education. She is also part of the Latinx community and throughout her school experiences, she's recognized disparities among Latinx youth and families as it relates to education and mental health and she believes it is wrong. She wants to help promote change. She has four girls and her hobbies are spending time with them and her husband, camping and bike riding.
