Bio

Ayaka Lingard (she/they) earned BS degrees in Social Work and Family Studies from Weber State University and an MSW degree from the University of Utah. Post graduation, Ayaka worked in substance misuse and chronic pain research as well as in clinical therapy as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker focusing on mindfulness-based interventions. Her interests include multicultural intergenerational interventions; aging; social connectedness; mental health in aging populations; perceptions of aging; psychedelic assisted psychotherapy.
