Biography

Kiana González Cedeño is a first-generation Puerto Rican PhD student in the English department and earning her certificate in Chicano/Latino Studies and Women and Gender studies. She received her MA in Hispanic Literature at Michigan State University, and her BA in Spanish Language, Literature, and Culture from the University of North Florida. Her research interest includes Women of Color literature and feminism, Performance theory, Lamentation Studies, and Caribbean Studies. She anticipates completing her dissertation by Spring 2024.
