Néstor is a dual-major Ph.D. student in Higher, Adult, and Lifelong Education (HALE) and Chicano/Latino Studies. He received his B.A. in Sociology from the University of California, Berkeley. He earned his M.A. in Higher Education & Organizational Change from the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA). His research focuses on students from the Central American diaspora while centering de/anti/post-colonial theory, temporalities, and identity formation.
